The Collection
A big part of the HIERO initiative is to create a sense of normalization around mental health through conversation and the sharing of stories. Mental health has an overwhelming stigma that follows it, making it hard to reach out for help, or talk to others. Some major ways we can break this pattern and spread knowledge is by sharing our own journeys, finding an outlet to express, and learning to support each other. This is an ever changing gallery space, where select entries of all different types of art will be displayed.
“I have found happiness through drumming and I showed people that having mental illnesses cannot stop me from achieving things I am truly passionate about.”
“we all have the power to set ourselves free from depression”

“Part of moving on from the deepest lows is one's ability to accept”

“Thoughts are simply thoughts, and it is your actions upon the thoughts that really matter.”
